A couple years ago there were a series of ads for special limited
colours for the new Volkswagen Beetle. One of these commercials (i
think it was a greenish color) contained the song "Clipper" by the
group Autechre as the soundtrack. This ad was on the Volkswagen site
for some time, but is no longer there. I'd love to be able to find
this commercial somewhere online. Thanks in advance for any assistance
you might be able to offer.

Hello.

Archive.org's Wayback Machine has stored the ad featuring Autechre's
"Clipper." The ad is called "Isotope."

I downloaded and played the ad. It's fully functional. The Quicktime
Player is required to view the commercial. If you don't have the
player. You can get a copy from Apple Computer:

search strategy: www.vw.com/commercials on archive.org's "wayback
machine"

I hope this helps.

That should have read:
"If you don't have the player, you can get a copy from Apple Computer:"
