Was this a comedy, a drama, etc.? Was this a series, feature movie,
etc.? Was this color or BW? When, roughly, would this have been show
originally? Do you recall any names of the actors or characters?

There was a 4-hour TV miniseries called "Guns of Honor" which, among
other things, dealt with the adventures of Belle Boyd, who was a
female double agent in Virginia during the Civil War. This miniseries
was released in two parts in the UK, under the titles "Rebel Rouser"
and "Trigger Fast."
