Hi bluestreak -

I've found a John J Medeiros who was born in 1929 and is listed
multiple times in the "Who's Who in American Politics". This doesn't
seem like the right guy. If it is, please let me know.

Hi librariankt,
John Medeiros was a much younger guy whose thing was
teaching modern jazz dance. To me in 1974, he looked as if he'd been
born around '45. If he was 16 yrs. older and was into politics, he did
a fairly beautiful job of hiding it pretty well. So... I'd have to say
your suspect doesn't sound promising. But on the other hand, if you
discover valid linkage, what could I say? I'd be delighted.

Hi bluestreak-ga,

Thanks, as always for your question. I actually happened on this one
completely accidentally while I was leafing through some books at a
new library :)

John Medeiros was born June 5, 1944 in Winston Salem, N.C.

"John Willis' Dance World." New York, NY: Crown Publishers, Inc., vol.
14, 1978-1979 Season, p.202.

You know the drill so if you have questions, just ask for
clarification!

Search strategy:
Browsed through some dance books and took a chance :)

Wow. Accidentally? Hmm. I know better. We have history. You know how
to make your own luck. I don't believe in luck or coincidences.
You're in a league of your own. Thank you so very much, as always,
luciaphile. You just might be the best kept secret in research
circles. bluestreak

I'm not a 100% on this, but I think I did check out the Who's Who in
American Politics the first time you posted this and it's not your
guy.

Hi luciaphile,
Have you had any free time to look over Bob Wolff, Jim Eason
or Hy Lit? I don't think that they'd pose a challenge as tough
research subjects, but I've been wrong in the past. What do you
think? bluestreak

Call it serendipity then :) I have been working on your radio people
but all I have for Wolff so far is a YOB. I'll keep plugging away
though. Thanks for the tip and the compliment!
