Omweso - a general advice for someone conducting a historical research in Africa is to check with other researchers on their experiences. In Uganda, some official regulations are not kept de facto, and on the other hand, some unofficial information could save lots of trouble. Try H-Africa for scholars of African history: http://www2.h-net.msu.edu/~africa/ |
