Hello bene7

Quite a difficult question! I've managed to find a few references to
his work - including two major publications (UK) with articles of his
appearing during 2002. Would details of these (plus
editor's/publisher's addresses) be any use to you as an answer?

(As you probably know, we are not able to offer any private contact
information.)

Hi bene7-ga,

Thanks for your question.

Although we cannot provide you with personal contact information for
individuals, we can, however, give you a way to contact the author
either through his agent or his publisher.

Peter Parker, author of “The Old Lie” and “Ackerley: The Life of J.R.
Ackerley”, is listed in Contemporary Authors. His agent is David
Higham Associates. And the address is: David Higham Associates, 5-8
Lower John St., London W1R 4HA, England.

Peter Robert Nevill Parker was born in June 2, 1954 in Hereford,
England. He attended the University of London and graduated with a
B.A. with honors in 1977. In addition to the two books mentioned
above, his work has appeared in various anthologies, including New
Stories 7, 1982; New Stories 8, 1983 and New Fiction II, 1987 and he
has contributed to the periodical “Hortus.”

“Contemporary Authors” cites three sources in particular where you may
find more information about Parker. These are:

New York Times Book Review, November 12, 1989, p. 12.

The Times Literary Supplement, September 15, 1989, p. 993.

Washington Post Book World, January 9, 1990.

“Contemporary Authors,” vol.136. Detroit: Gale, 1992.

Peter Parker has a forthcoming book due this July that published by
William Morrow & Co. (now Harper Collins).

Authorized Biography of Christopher Isherwood
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0688121985/categoricalgeome/104-9694026-0692745

Since this is his most recent publication, this is another way of
contacting him:

Peter Parker
c/o Author mail, 7th Floor
HarperCollins Publishers
10 East 53rd Street
New York, NY 10022

Contacting Authors

Search strategy:
“Contemporary Authors” is a good place to find author contact
information
Went to Amazon.com and did an author search which is where I turned up
the Isherwood book.
Google search:
“William morrow” publishers
“Peter Parker” isherwood
“Peter Parker” ackerley

I hope this answers your question. If you require additional
information, please ask for clarification before rating my answer and
I will do my best to assist you.

Regards,
luciaphile-ga
