Somewhat disappointing. Vendors from my list that were missed:
Sayson, scitecinc, Telstrat and Teledex. www.iptelephony.org had an
interesting list, which also didn't show up. Consumer, home phones,
and wireless phones are not of interest, as I only want phones used as
normal business phones. I'm happy that there are some new vendors I
never heard of, e.g. audiosears and choicehandset. Can you possibly
take another whack at this?

I'm really looking for phone manufacturers that make standards-based
phones and sell to phone system vendors. Example is Telstrat, which
makes analog phones and IP phones. A phone system vendor like Altigen
might resell this phone under their own name. Phones from Avaya,
Nortel and Cisco are proprietary and not as interesting. Other
vendors I have found: Cidco, DSG Technology, e-tel, Pingtel, Sayson,
scitecinc, Telstrat and Teledex. This URL has the best list:

Dear edbasart -
This is really unfortunate; I worked for many many hours to compile
your list, it was not an easy project by any means.
For future reference, please remember that the stars correspond
roughly to the relative percentage out of 100, i.e. 5 stars is 100%, 4
stars 80%, 3 stars 60% and so forth.
thanks,
