Hello,
I am desperately trying to find a metal finding that is used on
surgical corsets. On one end is a slot where a strap goes through and
on the other end are holes for laces to run through. I cannot
find them anywhere and do not know if they have a specific name. Any
help with this would be greatly appreciated. I need to obtain about
160 of them, so i'm searching for a supplier. A pic of a surgical
corset with the hardware i am searching for can be seen at :

I'd just like to make certain, you're looking for a supplier of a part
of the corset, not the corset itself, right? By the way, did you mean
"metal binding" in your question?

I AM NOT SEARCHING FOR THE CORSET , JUST A SUPPLIER OF THE HARDWARE
THAT CONNECTS THE STRAP AND LACING. I SAY A "METAL FINDING" TO
DESCRIBE A SMALL BIT, I T'S A JEWELRY TERM I USE CAUSE THAT'S WHAT I
DO.....THANKS

magicgypsy-ga:

National Webbing Products has the buckle you are looking for on the
following page of thier web site
http://www.nationalwebbing.com/0mhrdr01.htm listed under Medical Wire
Forms, about 3/4 of the way down the page.

I located National Webbing Products in the Thomas Registar on the
following page: http://www92.thomasregister.com/ss/.56534048992/TPdcolist.cgi?sid=56534048992&search_type=product&search_string=Buckles&pn=0046527&uuid=

The following site would suggest that the buckles may also be refered
to as 'fan-laced' or 'fan-lacing' buckles:

Happy Buckling!
