In the off-chance someone here has some knowledge of Pro Tools LE for the Mac:

I've successfully imported a movie, but the sound is
not working. What strange is, when I go to import it, the mini
"preview" window shows the movie, and I can hear the audio fine. So I
can't understand why, when I actually import it, it doesn't have any
associated sound. I've tried "import audio from other movie" and
selected that same movie to import audio from, and it says that it
doesn't have any audio tracks.

Ok, getting closer. Are you using QuickTime 4.1.2 or higher? Have
you upgraded to the latest Pro Tools LE 5.1.1?

Yep, I'm using 5.1.1 of Pro Tools. I've got the stand-alone Quicktime
which I just upgraded to version 6.0. Does Pro Tools use that? How
do I check to see what version Pro Tools is using?
