I'm taking my family to Breckenridge, CO for a week of skiing next
week. I've got some old ski's and want to upgrade.
Question:
1)What's the best way to try demos of ski's and boots to figure out
what the best ski and boot for me (ideally without cost)
2) Based on additional details below, what should I look for in ski's
and boots best suited for me.
Personal details:
I'm 46, 6'1", 215 lbs (on Atkins to lose some of those pounds :=)I
ski black diamonds ok but struggle with the "bumps". I'd also love to
ski powder through the trees with ease (yes, I'm taking lessons)
A slight twist is I have the gout, so my right foot is a little
different in shape than my left. A comfortable, custom molding boot
would really help for a more enjoyable skiiing experience. Related to
this, the most comfortable
boot on the market, tailored to my needs, is of high interest to me.
Bottom line, with the above identified, what questions do I need to
ask and/or what is the best ski/boot on the market today to meet my
needs to have a great week of skiing.
Thx. in advance. |
