I am participating in the National High School Model United Nations
conference in March.My committee is the World Health Organization
(WHO) and I have been doing research for my position paper on Iran's
position on the control of tropical disease.  Do you have information
on the following questions:
Which tropical diseases affect Iran? Are they endimic or brought to
the country?How do they affect Iran's poulation? How does Iran
restrict tropical disease from entering its borders? What does Iran do
to treat those infected by tropical disease? What proposals does Iran
have to advance the progress of the United Nations Special Program on
Tropical Disease Research? In addition to WHO, what NGO's, private
sector companies, etc. does Iran believe can help to curb the threat
of tropical disease?
I would like to have this informationas soon as possible to meet the
Model UN committee deadline for submission of this position paper( by
January 20).  I have to outline Iran,s policies on the control of
tropical disease and what contribute's to these policies; integrate
indigenous national factors into my answers; refer to national and
international documents and correctly site the sources; deal with
in-depth and covert issues of control of tropical disease; and
provide, as Iran, suggestions of solutions that address the control of
tropical disease.  I have to have a true understanding of the dynamics
of Iran as well as functional and applied knowledge of the control of
tropical disease, and an awareness of what agengies(WHO, NGO's), etc.)
have done to address the issues.
