Although not a strict guide to your specific model, cruising over to
http://www.ebay.co.uk/ I found another Fisher turntable (albeit
without cassette desks) which is currently at $9.99 (pounds, not
dollars). eBay is quickly becoming the defacto standard in second
hands goods, and you can get a good gauge on what people are willing
to pay by looking at closed auctions. I checked the "Home > All
Categories > Consumer Electronics > Audio - Separates & Systems >
Turntables" catagory, and found that the average older model used
turntables usually go for around $10-$50 depending on how old it is,
and whether or not it was a high-end system at the time. Unfortunately
I don't know much about your model particularly. I would suggest using
eBay as your selling point as it's established, and they offer fraud
protection and it's quick (you can usually sell something withing the
time limit, and if it doesn't sell, they allow you to relist your item
once for free). The other alternatives would be to take out a small
"Swap & Shop" add in your local newspaper (these listings are usually
free, but it may take a long time to get your item sold) or to just
hold a small garage sale and try to sell it there.
