Hello,
While I've never tried out these recipes, I've found recipes from a
variety of sources which are specifically tailored for bread making
machines. One comes from a site which has a bunch of traditional
baking wheat-free bread recipes. So I'm sure that these recipes work
because they are user submitted, and come with very clear/easy to
follow directions. First a little bit on wheat flour alternatives
(taken from a wheat-free website linked below):
"
Rice - usually brown rice
Potato - sometimes sold as "farina" - very starchy. Good for binding.
Also good for coating meat for stir-fry, etc.
Maize (corn) - older country folks may refer to this as "yellah mael"
(yellow meal). A nice flavour. Try to get the very fine ground as the
coarser flours are gritty.
Buckwheat (no relation of wheat) - A pleasant strong taste.
Soya - A good general purpose flour but not such a pleasant taste.
Millet
Oat flour
Barley - A nice soft flour with a pleasant flavour.
Rye (contains gluten so not good for celiacs) - A dark brown flour.
"
And below are a couple recipes that I've found.
