My mother has alzheimers disease. How can I get her into trial studies
for the drug Memantine? She lives in Atlanta,Ga.She has a doctor who
suggested that she buy it from Canadian sources(which we did) but it
is expensive and trials would be free or lower in price.

I have found a memantine trial that is still recruiting subjects with
mild/moderate symptoms, but the centres involved in the trial do not
include Atlanta

site, http://www.frx.com, (page with information about memantine
http://www.frx.com ), whose HQ is in New York
(http://www.frx.com/company/locations.shtml)

However, the web site did not have any contact information for people
wishing to participate in trials.
