How do I recharge a Packard Electric 0377D automobile battery for a 1993 cheverolet

Batteries have a limited life ... typically 3 to 4 years so, if a 1993
battery has given up the ghost, it has served you well.

Remove the battery from the car; if it is NOT a completely sealed
battery, check the fluid level and replenish with distilled water if
low; buy/borrow/rent a battery charger and charge overnight.  Also get
a cheap hydrometer (a couple of bucks) to check that the charging has
worked.

Take care - batteries will give off explosive hydrogen gas, so
ventilate and don't smoke.

Of course, as the previous comment suggested, the battery could simply
be worn out.
