Can you indicate the top say 3 established and trustworthy companies
that engage in custom building both in the US and also Europe especially
the UK.
I have searched "custom built pc" etc and find too many entities and
it is difficult to work out who they are and how reliable regarding
after sales service etc.they will be.

Before closing the question , the following comments for the benefit
of readers and after I had to do the research myself.
Falcon NW seem to be the best.There are a few others not mentioned
sofar.Plug and Work for instance.
The others , including ones mentioned, have poor to very poor tech
support records from dissatisfied customers.I have not found fully
satisfactory solutions in Europe or the UK.Alienware have opened in
Ireland and cover the UK.Tech support references not very encouraging
very unfortunately.
Some of their stuff is subcontracted to very large Far Eastern
companies it seems.
One has to go by what one reads and then make a judgement as to
reliability of information.That's what I have done.

The high level of integration means that laptop PCs are rarely custom
built, and offer a limited range of options, whereas desktop PCs can
be assembled from a wide variety of interchangeable parts.

Obviously, by volume Gateway and Dell have to be the top two.  But,
the third gets a little tricky, HP is good but not really customly
built.  I would have to say Alienware has the most powerful, reliable
options - however they can get a bit pricy.
