how many blacks vs. whites on notre dame football team?

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish website provides a listing of its 2002
full roster with pictures and profiles. Four players have no photos
but I was able to get the high school photo of Maurice Stovall, a
member of the roster.

So not counting the 3 players without pictures on the website, white
players outnumber blacks by 60 to 39. So even if we include the three
remaining players, it wouldn’t have a great effect.

Here is the tally:
Players
Black = 39
White = 60

Pictures Unaccounted for are the following:
Scott Raridon
Anthony Salvador
Nate Schomas

I also included the race of the coaches on the 2002 roster of the
Notre Dame football team.

Coaching Staff
Black = 5
White = 9
