why isn't 24 on fox tonight? to whom can i complain? when will the
next episode air? any chance L.A. will be wiped out by a weapon of
mass destruction in the meantime?

Before I tackle your question, I need clarification on the third
question and what sort of answer you are expecting?

Fox isn't showing 24 because:

"Fox also averaged 22.8 million viewers for Wednesday's two-hour,
filler-packed finale, while the last half hour, during which the
winner was finally announced, pulled in 28 million viewers--Fox's
all-time best numbers for that time period."

With numbers like that last year, this year they're pulling out all
the stops to make sure it gets its airtime. Don't fret through:

"
Fans will have to wait until the show returns Feb. 4 to find out what
happens.
"

And no, gosh I hope not. Now that they've got a lead on Syed Ali, I
hope they'll get him before he has a chance to unleash utter
destruction! And about the complaints? Unless you're prepared to write
28 million letters to Fox (the number of people that watched the last
American Idol episode) I think you'll just have to wait 'till February
4th. I'll be waiting w/you.

nice work---i tried fox + 24 + sutherland but everything i found was
too general to help. i guess i'm just not that into reality....

24 is off for three weeks because of two weeks of American Idol and
then the President's State of the Union address the third week. Which
makes me annoyed at American Idol, and even more annoyed at Dubya. =)

Over here, 24 is known as the "Jack Bauer Power Hour." Aptly named,
no?
