Hi,
There's a "Best Buy" Commercial where two guys are watching a football
game on a big screen tv in the best buy store. While they are watching
the game, music is playing in the background (sounds like an Italian
opera). They are interrupted by an employee asking if he can help.

My question is:
What is the name of the opera playing in the background, who composed
it, and which movement is that particular music clip from?

Thanks

Does this RealAudio clip sound like the opera from the commercial?

No, that's not it... Your clip sounded more like the Marriage of
Figaro.

The clip on the soundtrack features a soprano accompanied by either
basses or cellos.

I received this reponse from Best Buy customer service, so I'm going
to close the question. Thanks for attempting to help!

We appreciate your interest in the commercial. The composer is
Pergolesi, the opera is La Severe Padrona, and the aria is Stizzoso,
Mio Stizzoso. The orchestra is Compagnia d' Opera Italiana. The
version used in the commercial is licensed for professional usage only
(like our TV commercial). We purchased that particular piece from a
"needledrop" music provider.
