I need to find a parts vendor for an E27 cap (it is sometimes called
an E27 base). This is the metal screw cap on the end of an
incandescent light bulb. It doesn't matter where the vendor is
located, as long as they will sell this part to me in the US.

What I need is specific contact and order information. I asked this
question here before and got what appeared to be a good answer, but it
turned out the companies found were using the component in their own
products, but wouldn't sell it to me. I don't need to know about
companies that make light bulbs, I need a company that makes and/or
sells E27 caps to companies that make light bulbs.

What I expect as an answer are part numbers, prices, quantities, and
phone numbers/email addresses/web pages for the vendor.

I have located a number of companies who make and sell these
components. Some are located in the US; others outside. I have names,
phone numbers, web pages and in most cases, email addresses.  However,
none of the companies have made public their parts numbers or
pricing/ordering information.  I have sent emails requesting this
information, but so far have not heard back from anyone.  If I am
unable to obtain the specific import information or part
nos/quantities/prices, would the names and contact information be
acceptable to you as an answer?  Thank you.

Thanks for looking into this. My problem is that I have made several
attempts to contact companies that appeared to sell this part, but for
whatever reason they would never reply to my inquiries.

I need a verified source for this part. If you can get confirmation
from any company that they can indeed supply me with an E27 lamp cap,
and give me the contact information you used, I'll be satisfied.

Sorry, Tar-Heel, but that looks like a lamp socket, which is the part
a bulb screws into. I'm looking for the threaded metal piece on the
end of the light bulb itself. I want to make my own light bulbs, and
am having a very hard time finding this one piece.

Seems there aren't a lot of resources for do-it-yourself light bulb
builders.

I'm very happy to be able to inform you that I have received replies
from two of the companies I contacted on your behalf, confirming that
they do make the E27 lamp bases and would be willing to talk with you
regarding an order.  However, neither one will give across-the-board
pricing or order information without further details from you as the
prospective customer. Therefore, you will need to contact them
directly, but as you requested, I have provided you with the contact
details I used, and can assure you that both companies are expecting
to hear from you.

The first company listed, from whom I received a reply, is located in
the United States, which should make a non-issue of any importing
problems.  The second is in England, but they ship worldwide, so that
should not be an issue for them either.

Following these two companies, I've also listed three that did not
reply to my emails.  However, they do make the part, and they do have
phone numbers, so if you're not satisfied with the results of your
contact with the first two, you might consider calling rather than
emailing, since not all parts of the world use email with equal
familiarity and comfort.  Also, if I should receive a reply to my
inquiry(ies) after posting this answer, I'll post it/them as a
clarification.

And of course, if you need any other clarification, please do ask
before rating and closing the question, so I can be sure you're
