Dear kongulu-ga,
I must apologise for my inefficiency and the wrong information.

According to statistics produced by the African Petroleum Producers
Association for a conference to be held in 2003, the Democratic
Republic of Congo had "Proven oil reserves of 187 million barrels.
Average crude oil production of 25,100 bbl/d in 2000.
Downstream refining capacity of 15,000 bbl/d but the government is
planning to upgrade to 50,000 bbl/d depending on finding foreign
investment"

A review of the country by the National Treasury of South Africa dated
1999 estimates the oil reserves to be 180 million barrels.
