Find John Clarke died in WW1 1914! Father of James Clarke born 29th May 1911. James is one of 5 or 6 children and lived at 300 Hornby Street, Liverpool, England. Would like to know where John was born, what regiment he was in, possibly a Liverpool regiment, think he was infantry man. Maybe died on the way to France? Would like to know as much detail as possible as little is known about John's birth and death. |

Dear Jo90, One possible source is the on-line searchable Debt of Honour Register of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. You can find this at: http://www.cwgc.org/ As you will see, there are a lot of J Clarkes that could be your man, so you will need to persevere. I trust this helps. Carnegie |
