Since, you answered my first question extremely well, I wanted to ask you another question related to poetry. Currently I am doing research on the ethnic poetry from different countries. While studying the Dutch poets I came across one of the poets who wrote a book against the Dutch revolt against Spain. Unfortunately, I lost the name of that poet and the book that he wrote. What I remember is that the era of the poet was somewhere between the fifteenth to seventeenth century. Can you help me? Thanks for your help. |

Hello: Thanks for your recent comments. We at google answers are here to assist you with your research until you are satisfied. My research revealed that the name of the particular Dutch poet is Pieter Corneliszoon Hooft (1581-1647). He wrote Nederlandsche Historien, meaning Dutch History, about the Dutch revolt against Spain. More information about the poet and his book can be found by writing his name in any of the search engines, preferably Google. BUT if you require me to do some research, I will be glad to do that. Please clarify in that case. Thanks. Sincerely, leader-ga |
