Hi there,
In general, files that end in .tmp are temporary files that can be
safely deleted, unless they're in use. In this case it seems like you
might have a virus - or at least you did. From the error message
you're getting it sounds like the virus can't open a file that it
needs to do it's dirty work, perhaps because that file's been deleted
already. Regardless, the following forum thread in Google's cache
discusses causes and solutions for getting rid of it, however, due to
copyright restrictions I can't post any of it here. If you view the
thread below you'll find that the instructions for ridding your
computer of the virus include deleting the files that the virus uses
and editing your registry to prevent it from starting up each time
your computer restarts.
If you're unsure of how to edit your registry please request
clarification and I can guide you through it.
Hope that solves your problem! If you need any further clairification,
please feel free to ask before rating this answer.
Regards,
Deadlychiapet-ga
