Friends in Warwickshire have an early Tudor fireplace which has,
carved in the centre ,a heraldic device consisting of a shield with a
boss in the centre ,surrounded by a ring of seven five point stars ,
but with an outward facing lion rampant at the half past ten position
in the ring .Whse arms are these? Presumably some 15th century
Warwickshire man.The house lies on the edge of the old Stoneleigh
estate.
