What do I have to do to open and view "multi-part messages in MIME format"
using windows 98se and Outlook Express ?????

Which version of Outlook Express? Version 6 handles them by default.

received okay using windows 98se and Outlook Express 6 but "how
can I open them for viewing."???

although this site speaks about AOL, you can download the mime decoder from here:

http://members.aol.com/decodemime/win9x.htm

I'd imagine you could save the file as they mention and decode it.

If you are having problem with multi-part messages you may need to
select all the parts of the message, then access the Message menu, and
click Combine and Decode, this will allow you to view the assembled
contents.
