I need to find the crude oil price in USD between 1970 and 1994. I prefer monthly data, but yearly is OK too. I don't need it in a figure, I need the exact numbers because I'm going to do some calculations with the values so it has to be a table with the numbers. |

Hello bylla-ga, World Oil Market and Oil Price Chronologies: 1970 2001 The Energy Information Administration published the World Oil Market and Oil Price Chronologies: 1970 2001 in a chart here: http://www.eia.doe.gov/emeu/cabs/chron.html Just click on this link http://www.eia.doe.gov/emeu/cabs/chron.xls to download the world oil price data that was used to construct the above chart. The price data are in nominal terms, i.e., they are in "dollars-of-the-day" and have not been adjusted for inflation. When you open the document choose CHRON to see the information in numerical form. http://www.eia.doe.gov/emeu/cabs/chron.xls Here is a table of annual Crude Oil Prices by Selected Type, 1970-2001 Choose type and click on Go Get It http://tonto.eia.doe.gov/aer/aer-toc-c2000.cfm?Section=11+AND+COLLIST.Table=6+AND+COLLIST.Subtable=0 Crude Oil Domestic First Purchase Prices, 1949-2001 http://www.eia.doe.gov/emeu/aer/pdf/pages/sec5-195.pdf A wealth of data and statistics by year can be found here: http://tonto.eia.doe.gov/aer/aer-toc-a2000.cfm International Energy Price Information http://www.eia.doe.gov/emeu/international/prices.html#Crude Search Criteria: World crude oil prices by year If this is not the information you require or if the links don't work, please post a request for Answer Clarification before rating my answer and I will do my best to meet your needs.
