Why can't open a word pad attachment on my outlook express? I was able to before about a month or two ago. Now I get an "error" message when trying. It says "Word Pad caused an invalid page fault in module MSWRD832.CNV at 0167:0140f6d5 |

puppiess.. Thanks for your question. The problem you are running into is that WordPad is only compatible with Rich Text Format (*.rtf),Word Document (*.doc) - Word (6.0 format only), Text Document (*.txt) and Windows Write (*.wri) documents. While the attachment may say it is one of those documents, it may not actually be. It cannot open documents that have been created and formatted in Word 2000. You will need to save the document on your hard drive and open it with MS Word. If you do not have MS Word, you can download the MS Word Viewer at http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/2000/wd97vwr32.aspx Thanks again for your question and I hope the above information takes care of your problem. If not, or if you need any additional clarification, please let me know prior to rating my answer.
