How would you feel about fresh products that are packed carefully so
that they can easily survive shipping and be transferred directly to
your freezer?

Hi,

I've managed to compile the following list of sites on the internet
that allow you to buy raw lamb. Some claim to freeze before shipping,
while others pack fresh lamb with ice that can be shipped to you and
transferred directly to your freezer.

Please feel free to ask for clarification if you need it.

Wow, thanks ephraim. I'm tempted to check some of those places out. :)

I was very impressed with Omaha Steaks.  I ordered from them in the
middle of a Phoenix Arizona summer, and was concerned about the
packaging/dry ice, condition of the meats.  Everything was excellent,
still cold as could be, packed in a nice styrofoam cooler, which I am
using for storage.  The food is excellent, they have a wonderful
customer service center and many bargains.  Pricing is not out of line
for the quality received.

Hi lain,

I bookmarked this site when David Letterman did his "Know Your Cuts of
Meat" segment.  Their steaks looked absolutely mouth-watering.   They
also have lamb available along with other meats which are available
for ordering online.

This meat market ships Federal Express Priority Overnight and is
running a special through the month of May.  Since their shop is on
Madison Avenue, I suppose any purchase might cost an arm and a leg (of
lamb), but if money's no object, Lobel's has a quality reputation.
