While John Clarke wrote a book called MORE GREAT INTERVIEWS (Rathdowne
/ Allen & Unwin, Sydney. 1992) (see more books by Clarke @
http://www.laughradio.com.au/more2.htm ), I was unable to locate an
audio version.

I hope this is what you were looking for, and that it keeps you
laughing!

Best,

Sounds to me like John Clarke and Bryan Dawe. They have a regular
weekly spot on the ABC TV current affairs program "The 7.30 Report".
Some bookshop catalogues mention a tape called "More Great Australian
Interviews...", and transcripts of the current interviews are on the
ABC website. e.g. http://www.abc.net.au/7.30/s552143.htm
I suspect the audio tape is out-of-print, as I can't locate it in the
ABC Shop catalogue.

John Clarke has written two books which sound related:

GREAT INTERVIEWS OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY (Susan Haynes / Allen &
Unwin, Sydney. 1990)

MORE GREAT INTERVIEWS (Rathdowne / Allen & Unwin, Sydney. 1992)

This sounds like "Great Interviews of the Twentieth" by John Clarke.

Clarke & Dawes are a comedy team seen weekly on Australian ABC TV.
John Clarke typically appears as some celebrity and Dawes "interviews"
Clarke. The comedic bit is amplified by Clarke not attempting to mimic
the subject but simply answer questions (or not answer questions) as
widely known by news appearances of that celebrity.

The pair have also written and appeared in several series over the years.

One of the best is a spoof on Australia's Olympic Games organisation
called "The Games".

These tapes should be available online from the ABC shops somewhere
under http://www.abc.net.au.
