Hi! Thanks for the question.

I have found the following links that provide step-by-step guides and
tips on how to conduct and write employee surveys. To save you time I
will briefly enumerate the steps. It would be helpful if you read the
articles in their entirety so as to get a better understanding.

Our first link provides a background on the nature of employee
satisfaction surveys. You could found the steps I put here at near the
bottom of the page. These steps are actually title links on the web
page and expand as you click on them thereby giving additional
information. Please try this nifty tool so as to get a better
understanding of each step.

1. Tailor the survey
2. Distribute the survey
3. Calculate the scores
4. Identify areas to be improved
5. Communicate the results
6. Take action
7. Schedule the next one
8. Re-run the survey every 6 or 12 months to track and monitor
progress

3. Gathering Information
4. Design – actual writing of the survey
5. Review – testing the survey by key people
6. Administration - How to conduct survey either through phone, online
or paper.
7. Analysis of the result both qualitatively and statistically

for his task.
10. Measure the outcome
11. Communicate to the whole organization.

In the actual writing of the survey, these tips could be helpful to
your organization.

1. Start with the end in mind
2. The survey must have unbiased questions.
3. Gather demographic information of your employees.
4. Use open-ended questions in determining employee satisfaction.
5. Use vocabulary that your employees understand.
