I have a new HP laserjet 1200 that took 2 hours to print 41 ppt
slides, 8 - 10 of which contained a word table using the ppt slide
template.  I spent 90 minutes with the HP desk to no avail.  They had
not encountered this previously.  Does anyone know of a workaround,
or should I take the printer back?

There's a software workaround that might involve use of a piece of 3rd
party software.  It would DEFINITELY speed up the printing, though
you'd lose the ability to dynamically have the tables updated (which
is probably what's slowing the printing).

Are your PPT tables dynamically linked to Word?  (If you're uncertain
what I'm referring to, use your Powerpoint Help menu and type in the
question, "importing tables from Word.")
