The search I am doing takes me through the first 54 pages of 6,800
entrees and then when I get to the 55th page the NEXT symbol
disappears and I keep getting thrown back to a previous page and can't
go on. What do I do?

What search engine are you using?  What is your exact search?  How
many search results appear on each page?  When you say "getting thrown
back to a previous page", does this mean that you are automatically
sent to an earlier page than page 55, or does it mean simply that you
can't go further than page 55?
