Hi tjkernbach-ga,

There is no guaranteed way to find an email address, but I suggest you
look at this answer I posted to a previous question for guidance in
looking. If that helps you out, let me know, and, with your
permission, I'll post this comment as the official "answer" to your
question: http://answers.google.com/answers/main?cmd=threadview&id=146114

Best of luck,

Many of the Baptist churches (except for some small independents)
belong to one of the Baptist conventions, such as the California
Southern Baptist Convention (www.csbc.com) or the Progressive Baptist
Convention of California (www.rwbc.com). If you search under
"baptist, convention,California" you will find a few. If you knew the
convention that his church belonged to, you could find him either
through the church itself ot through the convention administration.
(Retired pastors generally receive a pension from the convention, not
the church. That is one of the reasons that the conventions exist).
There are few enough conventions that even if you do not know which he
belonged to, you can probably find him that way. I doubt that they
would release his e-mail address (not if they are responsible, anyway)
but you might get an e-mail forwarded to him so that he can respond if
he chooses.

Good luck.
