I'm looking for a 14k gold charm - specifically, a cat with sapphire
eyes. I want a smooth charm rather than a diamond cut. I'd rather
it not be too heavy or tall - one inch or under. If there's one
that's Siamese looking, with a wedge-shaped head and sleek lines,
that's great. I need a memorial for my little friend who left us
today, and
I just can't bear to search for myself. =(

Here are some examples of what I like:
http://www.efsterling.com/newsite/feline_site/ct33c.html but I'd like
a full body, such as
http://www.efsterling.com/newsite/feline_site/ct6.htm which only comes
in a pin and is too big anyway. If all else fails I'll go with
http://www.efsterling.com/newsite/feline_site/cs1sp.html but if you
can find me a 3d full body Siamese with eyes that can be set with
sapphires, you'll make me very happy.

Enameled gold is ok, too, but not preferred. Thanks, y'all.

BTW - I have a dangly bracelet, not an Italian (Zoppini). I'd rather
not pay over $500 for the charm.

Does it matter if the bail is secured on the top of the head or the
back of the body (as on a standing cat)? I also want to suggest that
if you can find any shape that pleases you, sterling, gold or
otherwise, I would wager that most any fine jeweler could wax cast it
and then cast it in 14K gold, and then set the sapphires in the eyes
for a maximum of $500. Unless I'm completely out of touch, I think it
would cost no more than $300.

No, where the bail is mounted doesn't matter to me. And you're right
- I do know a good local jeweler here who would be able to wax cast a
silver charm and make it gold for me (he wax cast my wedding ring!),
so go ahead and add silver to the search. Thanks!

Bobbie7-

I'd rather have a more realistic looking charm, and am specifically
looking for sapphire eyes since my cat was a Siamese, and had dark
blue eyes.. That poor kitty at
http://www.iluvcats.com/14yelandwhit.html looks kind of like he was
hit by a car! ;)

austin_trill,
I'll keep on looking.
I also have a siamese cat with blue eyes.
