Peter Cook is half of the infamous comedy duo (with Dudley Moore),
famous mostly for the film "Bewitched" and their "Derek and Clive"
sketches. He had three wives.

Jonathan Ross is a prolific primetime partaker for the BBC (most
notably, Film 200x) and well respected comedian.  Can anyone confirm
who his father is?

Unlikely.

As I understand it, Jonathan Ross has several siblings.

But then, it's a wise man ...

Well, I don't know who Jonathan Ross' father is, but it's not Peter
Cook. According to Peter Cook's biography at The Establishment
http://www.stabbers.org :

"Well, lets get the facts down - born 17 November 1937 died 9 January
1995. Married three times, first to Wendy (1964), then Judy (1974) and
finally to Lin (1989). Two daughters by his first marriage (Daisy and
Lucy) and a step-daughter from his third (Nina)."
