where can i find the three best prices for mac g4 ibooks in canada

I was price shopping a few months ago for the best prices for mac
ibooks as well in Canada. I found that Apple pretty much sets the
retail prices for their products and generally Authorized Apple
Resellers do not change the prices too much.

First, are you a student? If you are, you should contact your school,
be it a high school or university, because they often have special
educational prices.

I believe that the best prices would be on ebay, see this one for
example:

The auction is currently at $1,257.66, but you have to realize that
these laptops might be used, and might not have any warrenty left.

If you do want to locate the best price for a certain model, I can

Put in your Address and it will provide you a listing of all
Authorized Apple Resellers in your area. After you obtain this list,
you can quickly phone the various companies and get prices for the
exact model you want.

Just this morning, wed feb 5th, it was announced that mac has slashed
the prices on many of their products. I am not sure if the G4 was
inclueded in this price cutting. You can read the article here:

I have found that MacStation in vancouver has offered the best prices
that I have seen in canada. And they seem to be willing to make deals
with customers.

Perhaps, but compare iBook G3/800 14.1 256/30GB/Combo/E/56K priced at
$2,449.00 on the Mac Station website, with $2,399.00 on the Apple.com
website.

Perhaps they haven't slashed their prices yet, but I know that Apple
Authorized Resellers get information on price slashes well in advance.

Perhaps the customer could arrange a deal with them, but this is
possible at many retail stores in Canada.
