Hello Coorslight-ga:

I have found some material for you. Please remember you must contact
the publishers and/or authors to receive permission to stage these
works.

"O Solo Homo: The New Queer Performance" contains scripts along with
short stories. The material is described as "deeply shocking and
hilarious." You can purchase this book at:
http://www.talkinbroadway.com/bound/34.html

Self-proclaimed "The Best Christian in America" and popular gay
humorist Betty Bowers has a number of 2-3 person sketches at her site:
www.bettybowers.com
including "A Very Special Ramsey Christmas" at:
http://www.bettybowers.com/ramseys.html

A script for South Park's "Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boatride" can be found
at: http://www.mrhatshellhole.com/scripts/104.htm

The one-act (15 minute) comic monologue: "CALAMITY JANE SENDS A
MESSAGE TO HER DAUGHTER" by Carolyn Gage, can be ordered at:
http://www.carolyngage.com/contents.htm#Price

WILMA LOVES BETTY AND OTHER HILARIOUS GAY & LESBIAN PARODIES by Scott
Brasart.
This collection includes a "Chandler Comes Out" script. You can
purchase the book at "A Different Light" bookstore online at:

Hello Coorslight-ga:

I found some additional source materials for you:

You may be able to cull a sketch from the comic novel, "The Butches
of Madison County" by Ellen Orleans:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0963252666/qid%3D1044815399/sr%3D11-1/ref%3Dsr%5F11%5F1/002-0278287-6362401

Here's a description of the book: "Can 50-something, quasi-yuppie
Billie Bold find true happiness with an semi-straight Iowa farmwife
Pasty Plain? You bet, when you're reading an out-and-out parody named
'The Butches of Madison County.' Join Patsy and Billie for 4
unforgettable days of love, romance, and an absent husband. Winner of
the 1995 Lambda Literary Award for Best Lesbian and Gay Humor." (2-3
wait for shipping for new copy; used copies are available at Amazon.)

At www.planetout.com, look under PopcornQ Movies and search under
"Bisexual" and "Comedy." You'll see a list of such films as the comedy
"The Bisexual Kingdom" or "Baking With Butch," which you can buy at
Planet Out. You may find scenes that you and your teammates can act
out as sketches, but you should contact the studios that made the
films for permission.

Also, learn about Baby Snatching Dingoes, an "all-queer, femalesque,
boisterous, slap-happy bunch of San Francisco ruffians who specialize
in sketch comedy" at:
http://userwww.sfsu.edu/~maria/dingo/

You can e-mail the group from that site and see if they will send you
any of their sketch material and allow your group to perform it. This
may be a long shot, but it's worth trying.

You can also search for other comedy sketch troupes that *may* allow
you to use their material, at:
http://directory.google.com/Top/Society/Gay,_Lesbian,_and_Bisexual/Arts_and_Entertainment/Comedy/

I even managed to find some curling jokes (including some raunchy
ones) at:

http://www.sharpcurling.com/Blank%20Page%2011.htm

http://www.glenmorecurling.com/e/Misc/Humour/Jokes.htm

Good luck!

Hi there coorslight,

I was going to answer your question, but I ran out of time tonight, so
instead I’ll just give you my first thoughts …

If I have interpreted your intent correctly, I would have to HIGHLY
recommend that you start with Eve Ensler’s “Vagina Monologues” – you
must be familiar with it, yes?

Just in case not, you can read about it here and if you are
interested, you download the book in ebook form for only $8 US right
on this site:

The Vagina Monologues - The V-Day Edition
http://www.powells.com/cgi-bin/biblio?inkey=91-0375506586-0

“A poignant and hilarious tour of the last frontier, the ultimate
forbidden zone, The Vagina Monologues is a celebration of female
sexuality in all its complexity and mystery.”

From what I know of the book and play, which consists of plenty of
humor and multiple short skits intermingled with commentary and
narration, I am certain you and your friends should be able to easily
adapt a portion of it to present as your skit.

Have fun with it!

-K~
