Like the question, am a very biased industry person
but say "NO WAY". Education balances the need
for practical knowledge and knowledge to be applied
or delivered for non-work purposes. In addition to
Industry not speaking with one voice (Can you imagine
getting Microsoft and Oprah/Dr. Phil to agree on content
to be taught?) much of what is needed in life and to
function as a citizen, neighbor, parent or voter would
fall through the cracks.

Taking a small segment of your question, people always
ask "Should MBA recruiters have more impact on
what the B-Schools teach given that they are the customers?"
This area might provide some manageable discussion on
your subject. Very interesting, look forward to responses. Thanks.

Also, researchers might shy away from this since it is
not really a fact based question, but invitation for discussion.
That being said, you might want to define what you are
actually asking them to get. A good thing might be a
list of sites, Pros and Cons, discussing the topic.
I reread it, and would have trouble getting excited
about it since it is purely opinion based and they
have no idea when you'd close it. Just a suggestion.
