Hello What is the best way to rent or lease a mainframe that either mimics or helps me in the development and testing of code that is finally supported on IBM 9672-Y56 MVS mainframe. Can you point me to any datacenters or companies that may provide this type of service. Samrob |

Hi If you can answer the following , I may be able to help: 1. What platform are you seeking : OS/390, CICS, COBOL ? 2. How much space do you need ? 3. How much time do you need ( how big is the develoment project )? 4. Will you have access to an Internet link to tap on the mainframe ? Regards Marrett |

Platform: OS/390/MVS/TSO Space: The current production system has 3.5TB capacity. We probably need atleast 1 TB to test and develop the applications. Time: The project is currently estimated from 1yr to 2 yrs. Internet Link: Yes, possible. We may need access to mainframe to install/load/modify applications and data. If the Data Center provide these services that is well and good. Thanks. Samrob |
