Hello ahwah-ga,

I have found most of the data that you are looking for.

I’ve found the number of tourists that visited San Francisco and
stayed in hotels in San Francisco in 1999, 2000 & 2001.

I have the percentage of the 1999 San Francisco hotel guests that
bought candy to take home.

I have the percentage of the 1999 San Francisco hotel guests that
arrived by air and the percentage of those that flew into San
Francisco, Oakland and San Jose.

I have not yet found any information on the number of tourists that
shopped in the hotel gift stores.

Please let me know if you would consider the information that I have
as an acceptable answer.

Thank you,

I have not been able to find information related to the number of
boxes of candy sold.

I have written e-mails to the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce and to
the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau requesting any
information that they might have. I’ll let you know if I hear
anything.
