Hi didi1973~
Surprisingly, while there are many interesting essays about Dickens'
"Christmas Carol" online, very few are annotated.
The best source is probably the following, which includes several
works that may prove helpful, including theories about capitalism in
"Christmas Carol," an analysis of the story line, major themes, etc.
Some of the essays here are annotated, others are not:

BookRags has one annotated essay about Dickens' classic novel:

Of course, there's also "The Annotated Christmas Carol: By Charles
Dickens," by Michael Patrick Hearn; it can be found at amazon.com, as
well as many bookstores:

In addition, you may find this discussion board about "Carol"
