I am looking for a good website that will take me through the design and construction of a electric generators. I need the formulas to calculate how many windings, rpm, flux field, number of poles to use, etc to generate a given amount of electricity. For example: I would like to build a generator that generates 500kw of power per hour at 120 volts and 60hz How many windings of what size and what rpm should I use for the number of poles. I am not interensted in the websites that tell you how to build a "brake drum" generator if the formulas are not given. | |
