I was watching the film Out of Sight last week, and there was this
conversation between Jennifer Lopez, who played a Federal Marshall,
and this creepy advertising guy.

Creep: Excuse me, my associates and I made a little bet on what you
did for a living, and I won. Hi, I’m Philip.

J-Lo: If it’s OK with you Philip I’d rather just have a quiet drink
and leave.

Creep: Don’t you want to know what I guessed? How I know what you did
for a living?

J-Lo: Really, Philip, I don’t want to be rude, I just want to be left
alone.

For the rest of the film I was wondering, just what the hell was he
going to say next if Jenny from the Block was as curious as I was?

It won't actually answer your question I don't think, but you can
review the script (or at least a revised draft) here:

Maybe you can get something from the context. I couldn't.
