You will note that Alex Grey is not listed on either of the contact
sites above. As for the proper email protocol, upon checking domains,
I found that Earthlink does indeed use the “earthlink.net” protocol
that you are asking about, but, as it turns out they also own
“earthlink.com” so when mailing the host or a webmaster, your message
would likely be received by someone at earthlink. When emailing a
private person however, your email may very well bounce. I’d recommend
that if you don’t know the proper domain extension for the person you
are trying to contact that you try sending your message to both
addresses just to make sure that one of your messages is received by
someone. (i.e., johndoe@earthlink.net and cc a copy to
johndoe@earhtlink.com ) or…
