I recently watched Midnight Express, based on a true story, which was
very harrowing. Does anyone know what became of John Hurt's character
Max in real life? Billy in the film promised him that he would come
back for him. Did he? And what became of Randy Quaid's character and
the Scandinavian in real life? Did they get out of prison? Finally,
what did Billy end up doing?
