I have emule with the mod mavmule running. it connects, but does not
transfer anything. im behind a http-firewall... the proxy is
configured but somehow there is no up- and no download even not after
12hours.

Hello:
  What do you mean when you say the proxy is configured? Have you
opened the emule ports? If you have a firewall you will have that
ports closed by default.

the mod allows me to add the proxy in the preferences-section. the
only thing i did is to insert the ip there. check out the mod and see:

i personally dont have any firewall its just that im sitting in a
studenthouse where a stupid person installed a only-http-and ssl-proxy
and i can only connect via lan. they have nothing against filesharing
- its just that they have no access to the proxy. so i have to do
http-tunneling with wincommander for example to upload a simple
website...
