BAckground The brown long spined sea urchin is a predator that has taken over after the coral reefs have been damaged by dynamiting and overfishing which disturbed the natural ecology. A Brown long spined sea urchin severe injury to hand in sea near Jakarta Indonesia has led to Subsequent infections: severe localised oedoema followed by Low immunity to severe respiratory conditions. The sea urchin could have harboured toxic micro-organisms on the convoluted long spines that were injected via the injury to the human. Please identify any information about marine toxins entering body through injury ( not ingestion) and causing low immunity or long term acute and chronic infections. The marine toxins should be those found in the waters in Indonesia. Thankyou |
