Question ID: 159689
I heard about a NYC case in which one musician
sued another over copyright dispute in the 1920's.

Where can I find a transcript of the hearings/trial?
<If it's available offline and the researcher needs to go
to a law library - i'm willing to pay more for the effort>
Thanks

Lawsuits between artists over copyright are not all that uncommon. Do
you have any idea who one or both of the parties may have been? Or
even what sort of music (classical, jazz, etc.) was involved? Any
clues would help a lot.

kriswrite,

You can find the names involved at:

http://www.joods.nl/~chazzanut/articles/roitman.html

Unfortunately, I couldnt find more details, let alone transcripts,
on the Net.
