On-the-job-training means that you're in the job. Are you looking to
find another job? A job in a bank that has an investment department?
Do you have any geographic limits? Are you looking for training
programs in investment companies? Are you looking for post-graduate
training that would help you lend a job in an investment company?
Please tell us more so we can do a better job of answering your
question.

This question seems to be a slightly different version of the one you
posted a few days ago. You should probably close that question so you
don't get charged twice.

Hello bofaleh-ga,

Based on your clarification I looked for training programs that would
help you qualify to get an assignment in the investment banking
department of a bank and also possibly help you find a job in an
investment company if you decide to change jobs. As you explained, I
did not look for post-graduate programs but rather other training that
might be sponsored by your employer or one that you could sign up for
on your own. I’ve located some distance learning opportunities as well
as classes that you would have to attend in person. Please ask for
clarification on any of this so you can effectively move forward in
advancing your career.

Wishing you success.

Broadly speaking, Investment Banks work to finance the trading and
commercial activities of individuals and other organisations, helping
clients raise capital, advising them on investment and fund and debt
management and representing them in acquisitions & mergers.
Investment Banking provides high levels of responsibility, good
promotional opportunities and exceptional financial rewards for the
most successful employees. All this comes at a cost, however, as
competition for places is very high and the work often demands long
hours, lots of pressure and high levels of stress.

http://www.ca.courses-careers.com/banking.htm
A Career in Investment Banking
The term "investment bank" does not have a precise definition, but is
generally applied to financial houses which, starting from trading as
merchants, expanded their role to financing the trading and commercial
activities of others, especially in the international market place.
For many years, the British houses were known as merchant banks,
reflecting their origins. Investment banks have retained this strong
international flavour and often have offices in many other countries,
particularly in the major financial centres. While a number of
overseas-based investment banks now offer very similar services, some
of the best known and longest established firms in the City grew from
UK origin.

Hello again bofaleh-ga,

I’m sorry that you feel the answer I gave you does not meet your
needs. I must be missing some key piece of information. Please tell me
more about what you’re looking for. You said that you are not looking
for another job at this time “no not another job just training.” You
said your goal is to eventually work in investment companies or banks
with investment departments and you want training that will qualify
you for such jobs. I’ve identified a wide range of such training
courses that you could either take on your own or sponsored by your
current employer. Your feedback indicates that you’re looking for
something different. Please give me more information so I can get you
exactly what you need. It would be very helpful if you could give me
an example of the type of training that would meet your requirements.
I look forward to your additional information so I can complete this
search to your satisfaction.

Hello bofaleh-ga,

I’m not sure that we’re talking the same language. Let me make sure I
understand all the facts of your situation.

1) You are currently working for a bank in Kuwait.
2) You are not ready to change jobs at this time.
3) The bank you are working for cannot or will not give you the
“investment bank” training you are looking for.
4) You want to find a training program that is the equivalent of 3-4
months of investment banking experience.
5) You believe that there are some investment banks or banks with
investment departments in England, France or Italy who offer this type
of training.
6) You believe that the training identified in 5) above is available
to the general public, not just their own employees.

You say you’re looking for “on-the-job” training from someone who is
not your employer. Are you looking for internships? If yes, here is a
