Dear jimmyhh,

Locating the e-mail addresses or phone numbers of people you have lost
touch with is not easy and will, despite extensive research with the
legal tools available, often lead to dead ends. This is so because you
can, of course, only find contact information if some basic criteria
is met:

- The person's e-mail address must be included in the respective
directories and connected with his/her name. Far less e-mail addresses
are listed than phone numbers.

- The person must have a listed phone number which is also associated
with the individual's name.

- The person must still have the same name, respectively use this name
for the entries in directories.

These qualifications are more often not fulfilled than one would
imagine. However, if this criteria is fulfilled, chances are good that
you can find contact information for a person; but it is never 100%
sure.

You should also consider that lookup of individuals in other countries
might be subject to various laws and regulations different from those
in the USA. It is possible that you won't be able to locate your
friends should they now be resident in a country with very strict
privacy laws.
